Naples strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 59-53 W against the Dunbar Tigers. For the Golden Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 93-84 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2021.

Naples' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Dunbar, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Naples will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on South Fort Myers at 7:00 p.m. on December 1. As for Dunbar, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Gulf Coast at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
