Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mountain Ridge). They blew past the Maryvale Panthers 74-9 on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Mountain Lions considering their 21-point performance the contest before.

Mountain Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Maryvale, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Mountain Ridge will venture away from home to take on Corona del Sol at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mountain Ridge is facing Corona del Sol at the right time seeing as Corona del Sol is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Maryvale, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on South Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
