Mercy have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Princeton on Friday at 6:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps national rankings predict a close match.
Don't be fooled by the insanely high score: we promise McCloud and Mercy were playing football. Mercy came up short against McCloud two weeks ago, falling 49-57. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Mercy.
Meanwhile, Princeton didn't have too much trouble with Redding Christian last week as they won 42-27.
Princeton's win lifted them to 3-0 while Mercy's loss dropped them down to 0-2. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
