Cheatham County Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tucker Proctor out in front who scored 17 points along with 5 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Proctor has scored at least 25% of Cheatham County Central's points. Jevin Adcock was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Westmoreland's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 64-54 to White House. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Westmoreland came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while White House is ranked 99th).
Cheatham County Central's victory lifted them to 2-3 while Pearl-Cohn's defeat dropped them down to 0-2.
Cheatham County Central and Westmoreland were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in February of 2021, but Cheatham County Central came up empty-handed after a 45-44 loss. Can Cheatham County Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
