They really took it to Susquenita for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-33 victory on the road. With Mount Calvary Christian ahead 33-10 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Avery Kopcha continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 28 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Masters, who scored 13 points along with six steals and five rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Mount Calvary Christian and bumps their season record up to 11-10. As for Susquenita, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.
Mount Calvary Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Covenant Christian Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Susquenita, they will head out on the road to square off against Annville-Cleona at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
