Ella Schuberg gave up the fewest walks she has over her last six games on Saturday. She was dialed in as she struck out eight batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against St. Catherine of Siena Academy back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Schuberg has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Schuberg's effort led Central Catholic over St. Catherine of Siena Academy and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
