It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Adams Central Flying Jets can now relate to. They took a 35-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saints on Friday. Adams Central's defeat signaled the end of their 14-game winning streak.
Several Flying Jets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Trevor Currie, who picked up 126 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Hamilton, who rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Indianapolis Lutheran to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jackson Willis, who threw for 241 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes, and also punched in a rushing scores. Devuan Jones did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 87 receiving yards.
Adams Central's defeat dropped their record down to 14-1. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
