Northern Garrett won the last time they faced Bishop Walsh and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Northern Garrett Huskies simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bishop Walsh Spartans 59-23. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Northern Garrett was led to victory by Kaylee Bowser and Abby Nelson. Bowser went 6 of 9 to rack up 12 points and four steals, while Nelson posted 14 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Marisa Perez, who had seven points.

When it comes to explaining why Bishop Walsh lost, don't look at Rachel Wharton. Despite the final result, she scored ten points.

The win got Northern Garrett back to even at 8-8. As for Bishop Walsh, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Northern Garrett wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 44-27 victory against East Hardy on the 10th. As for Bishop Walsh, they will face off against Hancock at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th.
