It was a good run, but the Cameron Dragons unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of Madonna by a score of 57-54. Cameron was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Dons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Anthony Mascio continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Madonna, scoring 27 points. Luca Muzzi was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Cameron's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Madonna, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Cameron will take on the Fighting Irish at TBD on Friday. Notre Dame is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. Madonna will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th.
