The Hanson Beavers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They strolled past Freeman with points to spare, taking the game 69-54. Winning may never get old, but Hanson sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Despite the loss, Freeman still got an impressive performance from Rocky Ammann, who scored 17 points along with five blocks. Ammann hasn't dropped below two blocks for seven straight games. Luke Miller was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds.
Hanson's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-6. As for Freeman, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hanson will take on Chamberlain at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Freeman, they will be playing at home against Corsica/Stickney at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Freeman is on a six-game streak of home wins, Corsica/Stickney a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
