Berkeley is a perfect 5-0 against Hayward since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets will host the Farmers at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Berkeley and five for Hayward.

Castro Valley hit Berkeley with a five-run sixth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Yellowjackets fell 9-4 to the Trojans.

Berkeley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Quinton Hill, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Hayward scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 12-5 to Skyline.

Hayward's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Berkeley, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Berkeley took their victory against Hayward when the teams last played back in March of 2019 by a conclusive 16-0 score. Will the Yellowjackets repeat their success, or do the Farmers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
