Riverview Sarasota found their leader in underclassman Kennedy Guy, who went 7 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and 4 assists. The matchup was Guy's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Sims, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals.
Riverview Sarasota pushed their record up to 3-1 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for IMG Academy White, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverview Sarasota will challenge Port Charlotte at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. IMG Academy White will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Braden River at 6:00 p.m. on December 11th.
