Vista del Lago's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Freddy Alarcon, who scored 23 points, and Julian Rivera who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Rivera continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Johnny Cowart was another key contributor, scoring six points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Paloma Valley and bumps their season record up to 9-10. As for Vista del Lago, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
