The Cedar Creek Cougars can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They secured a 67-61 W over Ouachita Christian. The victory was just what Cedar Creek needed coming off of a 71-50 defeat in their prior contest.
Cedar Creek got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Connor Johnson out in front who scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson has scored all season. Jake Doan was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with five assists.
Cedar Creek's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Ouachita Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-13.
Cedar Creek will head out on the road to challenge Lincoln Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln Prep will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. As for Ouachita Christian, they will be playing at home against St. Frederick at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
