The Juab Wasps's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 52-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Emery. Juab has not had much luck with Emery recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Jay Rowley and Austin Park certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Rowley scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and two blocks, while Park scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Emery got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Wade Stilson out in front who scored four points along with 12 rebounds and six steals. Stilson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Zack Tuttle was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Juab has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season. As for Emery, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.
Juab will be playing in front of their home fans against Carbon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carbon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Emery, they will head out on the road to face off against Delta at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Delta is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
