The Westminster Wolves are taking a road trip to  challenge the Riverdale Ridge Ravens   at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Westminster is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4  runs per game  this season.
 Westminster fought the good fight in their extra-innings  game against Prairie View  on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell  9-5 to the Thunderhawks. The Wolves have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

 On the hitting side,  Magaly Santacruz was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 4-for-5 with a  triple, two  RBI, and a  run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Eva Muniz, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances.
 Even though they lost, Westminster  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 16  hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved they're  hit total in three consecutive  matchups.
 Meanwhile,  after only one  run in their last  contest, Riverdale Ridge made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Boulder  on Tuesday. Riverdale Ridge blew past Boulder 12-0. Considering the Ravens  have won five matches by more than seven  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Neila Lucero and  Peyton Saenz did most of the damage at the plate:  Lucero  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, four  RBI, and two  runs, while  Saenz  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  runs, and three  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Olivia Vargas, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-1.
 Westminster's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Riverdale Ridge, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with that  win, which was their third straight  at home.
 Wednesday's   game will be a test for both team's pitchers. Westminster hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of 0. However, it's not like Riverdale Ridge struggles in that department as   they've  averaged 0. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
