The McEachern Indians had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.4 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 38-0 win over Hillgrove. The result was nothing new for McEachern, who have now won three contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
McEachern can attribute much of their success to Jaydon Kinney, who threw for 258 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes. Dy?lon Womack got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
McEachern's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.0 points per game. As for Hillgrove, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
McEachern will look to defend their home field on Friday against Campbell at 7:30 p.m. Campbell will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while McEachern is ranked 34th). Hillgrove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
