The Western Warriors were the 47-27 winner over the Moore Mustangs when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Western fell just short of Moore by a score of 43-40.
Western's lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Aubryonna Durrah, who scored 7 points along with 18 rebounds and 7 blocks. Leslie Bright was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 4 steals.
Western's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Moore, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Western will face off against Pleasure Ridge Park at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Moore, they will head out on the road to face off against Fairdale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
