Tree of Life Christian is 8-2 against the Lions since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Tree of Life Christian Trojans are on the road again and plays the Northside Christian Lions at 8:00 p.m. on February 6th. Hopefully Tree of Life Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, things could have been worse for Tree of Life Christian, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 52-37 loss to the Flames.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Ronald Amoah, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games. Another player making a difference was Parker Haman, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Northside Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over the Eagles on Saturday, taking the game 49-36. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Northside Christian.
Tree of Life Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Northside Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
Tree of Life Christian came up short against the Lions in their previous meeting back in January, falling 61-50. Can Tree of Life Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
