Softball Recap: Snow Canyon Sets Scoring Season-High Against Murray

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Snow Canyon). They blew past the Murray Spartans 19-1 on Saturday. The Warriors have beaten the Spartans the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Spartans has come to flipping the script.

Snow Canyon got a massive performance out of Falynn Randall, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Marianna Acuna also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.

Snow Canyon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .710. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Murray only posted an OBP of .385.

Snow Canyon's record is now 6-8. As for Murray, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coming up, Snow Canyon is taking a road trip to take on Jordan at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Murray, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Hunter at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hunter has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11 runs per game on average), something Murray will no doubt try to take advantage of.
