Lake Ridge had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came out on top against the St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans by a score of 2-0.

Lake Ridge can attribute much of their success to Zoe Patteson, who had 11 assists and six digs. Olivia Roland also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Despite the loss, St. Stephen's Episcopal still got an impressive performance from Katherine Oehler, who had 11 assists and five digs.

Lake Ridge's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for St. Stephen's Episcopal, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Lake Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Madison on the 22nd. As for St. Stephen's Episcopal, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Bowie on the 22nd.
