Mooreville lost to Nettleton 62-24 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Belmont led 3A Region 1 in scoring this week after putting up 28 points on Belmont.
Devan Hurst was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Cardinals fell to Mantachie. The 6-foot-0 junior racked up 2.0 sacks.
Elijah Tate was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 9 carries, he ran for 85 yards as Booneville defeated Baldwyn. Dejesuse Rogers also contributed to the rushing game with 80 yards on the ground.
Lambert was the best wideout in the league this week as the Blue Devils beat the Bearcats. Lambert tallied 6 receptions for 82 yards. Hunter Henley helped Booneville's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 16 yards.
Luke Alexander threw for 166 yards and 3 touchdowns. He went 10-22 with 0 interceptions.
