The Broadmoor Buccaneers fell victim to the Plaquemine Green Devils''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 56-0 loss at the hands of the Green Devils. Broadmoor just can't catch a break and has now endured seven defeats in a row.
Plaquemine's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Vincent Dawson, who rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Brandon Smith did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 63 receiving yards.
Broadmoor's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 1-7. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 5.0 points per game. As for Plaquemine, the win was the third in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
