Tipton-Rosemark Academy was the 6-1 winner over Lausanne Collegiate when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rebels fell just short of the Lynx by a score of 10-9 on Saturday. The Rebels' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Vowell, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Another was Trace Scott, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Lausanne Collegiate, they moved to 18-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tipton-Rosemark Academy will square off against University School of Jackson at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rebels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bruins have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Lausanne Collegiate, they will take on Northpoint Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
