David Goicoa was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Grangeville is 7-2 when Goicoa posts two or more runs, but 5-7 otherwise.

Kaiden Morris made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Landen Holmes was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
St. Maries' loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Grangeville, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.
Friday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Grangeville has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .491. However, it's not like St. Maries struggles in that department as they've averaged .443. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
