There's no place like home for the Windsor Warriors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 48-44 win over East Hartford on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Windsor also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
East Hartford's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Graci Hawkins, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nia Edens, who scored 11 points.
Windsor's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5. As for East Hartford, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Windsor will be playing in front of their home fans against Holy Cross at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Holy Cross knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven contests -- so hopefully Windsor likes a good challenge. As for East Hartford, they will head out on the road to face off against Enfield at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (Enfield is ranked 45th, while East Hartford is ranked 40th).
