After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Broken Bow, the Hershey Panthers were happy to have found some success on Friday. They snuck past Doniphan-Trumbull with a 48-43 victory.
Hershey found their leader in underclassman Kenna Bringewatt, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Payton Jones, who scored 12 points.
Doniphan-Trumbull lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ridley Sadd, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds. Sadd continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlee Richter, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Hershey's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Doniphan-Trumbull, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
