The Madison Trojans are taking a road trip to take on the Lincoln Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Last Friday, Madison had to suffer through a 90-27 loss at the hands of Molina. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 65-10.
Meanwhile, while Lincoln put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Adams. Lincoln simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Adams 41-0 on the road. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Tigers just coasted through the last quarter.
Lincoln's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jermirion Robertson led the charge by rushing for 86 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Jastin Hampton also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Lincoln's defense and their 6.5 sacks. It was truly a group effort as Talon Beachum, Jarmon Trotter, and Dominic Johnson picked up two apiece.
Madison's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lincoln, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
