Blacksher waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past Washington County 18-5. Considering Blacksher has won 15 matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Alexis Menjivar and Laney Saucer did most of the damage at the plate: Menjivar went 4-for-5 with five RBI, three doubles, and one run, while Saucer went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave Menjivar a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kayleigh Patrick, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Blacksher hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in seven consecutive contests.

Blacksher's win bumped their record up to 22-13. As for Washington County, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-17.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Blacksher beat Washington County by a score of 16-3 later that day.
