The Magruder Colonels and the Wilde Lake Wildecats will round out the year against one another at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday at. Magruder will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Last Thursday, in a tight game that could have gone either way, Magruder made off with a 53-52 victory over Gaithersburg. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Magruder has scored all season.
Magruder got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aiden Dabbondanza out in front who scored 13 points along with eight assists and six rebounds. The matchup was Dabbondanza's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Wil Dabbondanza was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Wilde Lake was the victim of a rough 74-54 loss at the hands of Overlea on Thursday.
Magruder's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Wilde Lake, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
