The Le Roy Oatkan Knights put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past Dansville with points to spare, taking the game 61-43. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Le Roy also won the last time the pair played back in March.
Merritt Holly Jr. continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Le Roy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaric Luce, who scored 11 points.
Le Roy's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Dansville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Le Roy will face off against Avon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Avon has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 253 points over their last four contests. As for Dansville, they will head out on the road to face off against Hornell at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
