Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for North Central

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but North Central had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Greenfield-Central Cougars. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Tristan Wilson looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Rykin Matthias was excellent, getting on base in two of his five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Tanner Wilson, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one RBI.

North Central's victory bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Greenfield-Central, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-15 record.

As of now, neither North Central nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
