The Wallace Miners's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 81-25 loss at the hands of Lakeside. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Wallace in their matchups with the Knights: they've now lost eight in a row.
Lakeside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyson Charley, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten assists. Charley is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Brutis Sijohn, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Wallace's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Lakeside, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.
Wallace is on the road again on Wednesday and plays the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. As for Lakeside, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Wampus Cats at 5:30 p.m.
