After losing to Lexington the last time they met, Jackson South Side decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Jackson South Side were able to grind out a solid victory over Lexington on Friday, winning 21-14.
The win bumped Jackson South Side's record up to 7-0. The defeat dropped Lexington's record to 2-6.
Next week Jackson South Side take on Liberty Tech Magnet at 7:00 PM. Liberty Tech Magnet took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Jackson South Side's good fortune. Lexington will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against Hardin County in two weeks at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
