The Bloomfield Bees were the 54-53 winner over the Ponca Indians when they last played one another on January 5th, but their luck changed this time around. Bloomfield fell 42-33 to the Indians on Tuesday. Bloomfield has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Bloomfield still got an impressive performance from Kora Poppe, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Madison Abbenhaus, who scored eight points.
Bloomfield has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Ponca, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloomfield will take on the Warriors at TBD on Tuesday. As for Ponca, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Huskies at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
