The Susquehanna Township HANNA will head out on the road to face off against the Gettysburg Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Susquehanna Township unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of East Pennsboro by a score of 31-28.
Meanwhile, Gettysburg pushed their score all the way to 42 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. Their rough 63-42 loss to Northern York might stick with them for a while. It was the first time this season that Gettysburg let down their fans at home.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Brady Heiser, who threw for 268 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Preston Burnett was in the mix as well, providing Gettysburg with two touchdowns.
Susquehanna Township's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Gettysburg, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Susquehanna Township came up short against Gettysburg in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, falling 23-16. Thankfully for Susquehanna Township, Jayden Johnson (who rushed for 132 yards and a touchdown) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
