It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but James Island had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They skirted past the West Florence Knights  5-3. The  win was familiar territory for James Island who now have five in a row.
  Cooper Jones looked comfortable as he  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Stow Rogers was  incredible,  scoring a  run and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.  Kyle Stock was another key contributor,  going 3-for-3 with two  RBI.
 On West Florence's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Avery Weaver, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 James Island's victory was  their 11th straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 25-2-1. As for West Florence, their loss dropped their record down to 22-7.
 As of now, neither James Island nor West Florence have any future games scheduled.
