Meanwhile, West Jordan entered their tilt with Taylorsville with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. West Jordan snuck past Taylorsville with a 55-50 victory on Friday.
It was another big night for Colton Blackham, who scored 25 points along with eight assists and two steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Alex Szymanski was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 13 rebounds and two blocks.
Cyprus' win bumped their record up to 3-13. As for West Jordan, they pushed their record up to 7-10 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
