The Cook Hornets posted their biggest win since January 6th on Saturday. They blew past Berrien, posting a 59-32 win on the road. Winning may never get old, but Cook sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cook to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chavious Hobbs, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Hobbs hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Reshauld Tippins, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
Cook's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Berrien, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.
Cook will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Brooks County at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Brooks County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 last Friday. As for Berrien, they will head out on the road to challenge Fitzgerald at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
