The West Elk Patriots lost to the Sedan Devils back in December of 2023, but the West Elk Patriots didn't allow the Sedan Devils the same satisfaction on Tuesday. West Elk walked away with a 59-46 win over the Devils. The victory made it back-to-back wins for West Elk.
Leading West Elk to victory were Uriah Tillapaugh and Maddex Moreno. Tillapaugh scored 21 points along with eight rebounds, while Moreno scored 20 points along with eight steals. Kase Kill was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds and two steals.
West Elk is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Sedan, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-5.
West Elk will take on the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sedan, they will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Udall is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home.
