The biggest upset of the week belonged to Washington, who took down 902nd ranked Washington, 21-9.
Lincoln extended the longest winning streak in Academic this week by beating Galileo, 35-20. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Mustangs.
Lincoln's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Derek Morrell has thrown for 240 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Joshua Burnoski has five catches for 122 yards. Demetrius Williams leads the league in rushing with 742 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Balboa takes on Lowell. The Buccaneers are currently in fifth, while the Cardinals are in third.
Lowell was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in Academic.
