Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is North Lincoln's 13th in Last 14 Outings

North Lincoln had won four straight road games and Kellen Karr did his part to make it five on Friday. Everything went the North Lincoln Knights' way against the Foard Tigers as the North Lincoln Knights made off with a 74-52 win thanks in part to Karr, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

Another player making a difference was Luke Grooms, who posted four points. What's more, he also racked up four assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2024.

North Lincoln is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.6 points over those games. As for Foard, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-21.

Looking ahead, North Lincoln will head out to challenge West Iredell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in North Lincoln's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 20 games. As for Foard, they will challenge Hickory at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hickory knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Foard likes a good challenge.
