Ashton Carter Delivers Electric Effort Vs Noblesville
Starting off the list is Avon's Ashton Carter, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Carter rushed for 141 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August.
Carter and Avon will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Brownsburg at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st. Carter will face off against Brady Lewis, the Bulldogs' star RB. Deacon King's big game helped extend Westfield's winning streak to three on Friday. Franklin Central had no answer to King as he rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. King's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105 rushing yards.
Westfield's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. King and Westfield will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Harrison at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.
