Ashton Carter Delivers Electric  Effort Vs Noblesville
 Starting off the list is Avon's  Ashton Carter, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Carter rushed for 141 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. That's the most  rushing yards  he has posted since back in August.
 Carter and Avon will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Brownsburg at 7:00  p.m.  on November 1st. Carter will face off against  Brady Lewis, the Bulldogs' star RB. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

King Posts Huge Game in  44-7  Victory
  Deacon King's big game helped extend Westfield's winning streak to three on Friday. Franklin Central had no answer to  King  as he rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. King's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105  rushing yards.
 Westfield's win was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 8-1. King and Westfield will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Harrison at 7:00  p.m.  on November 1st.

Carsen Melvin Makes It Two for Westfield
 Keeping King company is  Carsen Melvin, a fellow Westfield player. He threw for 241 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
 For the season,  Melvin  has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 155.6 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 6.33  rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 17.11  rushing yards.

Alex Burke Dazzles in Brownsburg Loss
 Brownsburg was sadly handed a  loss on Friday, but  Alex Burke did his best to prevent it. Burke turned in nothing short of a gem, making 11 total tackles (3.0 for loss) and defending a pass.
 If history really does repeat itself,  Burke might just drop another big game when he faces off against Avon on Friday. Burke picked up  1.5  sacks, forced a fumble,  and made eight total tackles (3.5 for loss) the last time he and the Orioles duked it out  back in September.

A Season-Best  Performance from  Makyi Hines Leads Avon over Noblesville
 Avon was led to victory by  Makyi Hines, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Hines made 19 total tackles.
