The LaSalle Tigers won the last time they faced the Harrisonburg Bulldogs, and things went their way on Thursday too. LaSalle came out on top against Harrisonburg by a score of 47-39.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ryan Fuqua, who scored 19 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. The game was Fuqua's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Laine Dupuis was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 10 points and 12 rebounds.
The win got LaSalle back to even at 1-1. As for Harrisonburg, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. LaSalle will face off against Monterey at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harrisonburg won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Montgomery at 5:45 p.m. on December 1st. Montgomery is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
