 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Gonzales). They blew past Rancho San Juan 44-8  on Friday.
 The  win was their first  at home , bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Gonzales, their  victory (their first of the  season) made their record 1-4.
 Things could have been worse for Pajaro Valley, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took  a  28-13 loss to Gonzales in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024. Can the Grizzlies avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
