Leading Union Grove Christian to victory were Sara Long and Klaira Cromer. Long dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds, while Cromer scored 21 points along with five steals.
Union Grove Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for New Manna Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union Grove Christian will challenge Woodland Baptist Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Woodland Baptist Christian will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. New Manna Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Victory Christian at 4:30 p.m. on January 16th.
