Bowie has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Austin Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Bowie strolled past Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy with points to spare, taking the game 45-27. 45 seems to be a good number for Bowie as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Meanwhile, Austin waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins but they left with five. They took down Harmony Science Academy 40-22.
Bowie's victory bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Austin, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season.
Bowie couldn't quite finish off Austin when the teams last played on January 5th and fell 36-33. Can Bowie avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
