Hampton Prep's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They fell just short of North Hills Prep by a score of 54-52. Hampton Prep was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as North Hills Prep apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
North Hills Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Carter Jackson out in front who scored 14 points. Grant Jackson was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Hampton Prep's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-10. As for North Hills Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
