Miami typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Gilbert Classical Academy proved too difficult a challenge. They took their game with ease, bagging a 56-26 win over the Miami Vandals. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 25 points or more this season.

Miami's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Deray Mathis, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. That was a full 42.3% of Miami's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of John McGoughey, who earned four points along with nine boards and four blocks.

Gilbert Classical Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.
