On Friday, West Morgan took a serious blow against Whiteland, falling 95-52.
Whiteland got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ethan Edwards out in front who scored 22 points along with four steals. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jaskirat Banwait, who scored 20 points.
West Morgan now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Whiteland, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.
West Morgan's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pike Central on December 30, 2023. Hopefully Pike Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Saturday. Whiteland won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian on December 30, 2023.
